I know you wana see the shiny vid first so come back up when you're done! xP Ok so I rebuilt half the hair rig. Added more bones to it and tuned it some. What was happening was about midway down it seemed her hair was a little too ridged and not bendy enough. So I added more bones to let that happen. This is basically Misaki hair on crack. More bones and technically challenging physics all to keep her hair separated when it flys around but keep it some what grouped up. Before I re-built the original rig her hair was also flying around super wildly. May have looked cool for some serious head banging rock video but probably not what most of you have in mind.
2nd Major thing was she had to have a arm operation/surgery. I noticed her elbows were too low on her arm and the only correct way to fix it was go all the way back to maya and fix it at the source. Then bring her arms back in to max then export from max in pmx then re-rig them. It ate up a few hours trust me but now I'm happy
Also made basic a,e,i,o,u mouth shapes for the video and a eye blink. Her eye lashes are a super huge pain to work with. Everything else is awesome
And yes I do know she ate her hair 3 times in that video. Ironically after playing it 7 more times she didn't do it. Gota love real time physics. xD
